Photography has been a good excuse for me to be away from a desk. It has also changed the way that I think about composition, lighting, and shaped the way that I design. Experimenting with lenses, color, and a variety of techniques has helped me to look at things differently. I’ve often had the opportunity at work to retouch images, sometimes final, sometimes just to show our retouchers what feel I want for an image.
